2016-2017 CECA PTO Executive Board Nominees

2016-2017 CECA PTO Executive Board Nominees

Elissa Wolfe – Candidate for PTO President

My name is Elissa Wolfe; I am hoping to serve as PTO President for CECA. We have 4 children, 2 of which currently attend CECA and have been here since CECA first opened their doors. I volunteered to be a nominee because I believe that it is important to be a present and active parent and I love CECA and the knowledge that my children have gained by being students here. I actively try to be a part of a lot of the volunteer options here at the school. I currently work on site at The County of San Bernardino Risk Management office as a Senior Medical Bill Review Analyst and my husband has finished his Registered Nurse training and will graduate in April. We as a family believe in education and volunteering in our community to make it better.

Beth Duncan – Candidate for PTO Vice President

Hello CECA families!

My name is Beth Duncan. It is my hope that I will be able to serve as your Vice President, for PTO, for the 2016/2017 school year! I have a son, Cody, in fourth grade here at CECA. Cody has been at CECA since Kindergarten. I am a long term substitute teacher for River Springs Charter schools, in Riverside. I also volunteer in Cody's class. I have been involved in the activities at CECA from the beginning. I am very passionate about CECA, its students and all it has to offer. I would be thrilled at the chance to serve all of the students, parents and staff, as Vice President. Go Grizzlies!!!!

Crystal Blakkan – Candidate for PTO Secretary

I enrolled my daughter Savanna Blakkan into CECA when it first opened. I was one of those crazy parents that slept overnight in a school parking lot to do so. Education is a top priority in my house as I believe education never really ends. I am currently attending Crafton Hills College and have three classes left until I graduate with two degrees. I was the president of the Child Development and Education club on campus for one year, so I know how to work in a group. I am also a part of the Supplemental Instruction program at Crafton that is aimed at helping students do better in their classes. My daughter will be an eighth grader next year, so I want to spend this last year at CECA giving back to this school community that we both love.

Marti Harlow-Aiello – Candidate for PTO Treasurer

We have been at CECA since 2012. I have two kids that attend CECA. I currently work in Financial Crimes and have 25 years of banking experience. I have a BS in Business Management. We have been residents of Yucaipa since 2003 and we were in Mentone since 1999. We are a baseball family and my son is on the CECA Archery Team.

Welcome 2015-2016
Dear CECA families,
It is my pleasure to serve as PTO President for the 2015-16 school year. Our executive board has been working very hard to bring some exciting events to campus this year. A successful PTO membership donation drive is essential in order to make these student events great. Did you already make your membership donation at back to school night? If not, it isn't too late. Be on the lookout for a membership donation drive flier in your student's back pack the week of August 24th. Each membership donation is $5. We encourage each family to make a membership donation for each parent/guardian and each student. 100% OF MEMBERSHIP DONATIONS FUND STUDENT EVENTS.
Have a great school year!
